Our Day Unit provides specialised nursing and medical care for up to 14 patients daily, with around 70 patients on our register at any one time.

Services to patients living with a life-limiting illness and their families are provided free of charge.

During the day patients can take advantage of a range of therapies which include massage, physiotherapy and aromatherapy. Our hairdressing salon is very popular with both male and female patients

Craft work and diversional therapies provide a sense of purpose and the fun of learning new skills or picking up the threads of old ones.

Transport is provided by a team of volunteer drivers using private cars. Patients with severe mobility problems are transported by ambulance or local taxis equipped for wheelchair access

Meals and refreshments are provided throughout the day and our catering staff are sensitive to the needs of individual patients.
