Arts in the Garden
On Sunday, October 3rd from 11-3 Lindsey Lodge is turning itself and its gardens into an outdoor and indoor art gallery for the day.
Free entry (donations on gate) and free parking on rugby field. Wheelchair friendly.
Lindsey Lodge is working in association with 20:21 Visual Arts Centre to arrange an extravaganza of art, music, dance and craftsmanship. All sorts of art forms will be represented with a chance to buy early Christmas presents and support local talent.
You can enjoy a lovely afternoon and do any of the following things:
* get a chance to meet all the artists,see and buy their work
* enjoy following the art trail and seeing all the floral art, garden sculpture and garden art
* relax and enjoy Appalachian and Morris dancing and other performance arts
* visit the young people's art competition exhibition
* get involved with the 'Give us a hand' live sculpture
* let the kids express themselves in the children's activity village
* win an original painting 'Brigg Market' by Hibaldstow artist Dennis Nash
* view the hospice patients' art gallery
* admire new works commisioned by the hospice, funded by the Department of Health, from Glass artist Gill Hobson and artist/blacksmith Jenny Pickford
* enjoy a cup of tea and cake from the refreshment tent.
