About Us
Lindsey Lodge Hospice is an independent charity offering special care for people in the North Lincolnshire area with specific life-limiting conditions such as cancer, multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease.
Located on the outskirts of Scunthorpe, Lindsey Lodge is set in beautiful landscaped gardens, surrounded by countryside. It is accessible by car from all major routes and is also on a bus route.
The hospice was opened in September 1992. We provide loving, specialised nursing and medical care which is sensitive to the needs of the individual patient and their loved ones.

Care provision
Lindsey Lodge helps over 120 people every week by providing services that include the following:

* bereavement support and counselling. click here to see more about our Chaplaincy support.
Services to patients living with a life-limiting conditions,their families and loved ones are provided free of charge.
It costs over £3.50 every minute to run Lindsey Lodge. Although generous funding is received from the North Lincolnshire NHS Trust, we rely on the generosity of local people and organisations.
How are people referred?
The majority of our patients are referred by Clinical Nurse Specialists and Doctors. Some referrals come directly from the patient and family.
Staffing
The Hospice is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of full and part-time staff who specialise in various aspects of palliative care. Other vital roles are performed by our many voluntary staff.
We are always looking for people who may wish to volunteer a few hours a week to help in these shops, either on the counter or behind the scenes.

Information collected
Lindsey Lodge Hospice may collect personally identifiable information on its website from visitors requesting information, making donations or participating in promotional or fundraising events. Types of personally identifiable information we may collect are names and email addresses. Credit card details are not collected as any payment is through secure third party mechanisms.
We use web log analysis tools to better understand the performance of our website. These tools are designed such that personally identifiable information is not saved in web logs.
User consent
Personally identifiable information is collected only from website visitors who voluntarily submit it. Visitors who no longer wish to receive information that was requested can opt-out by contacting us*.
