Recycling
Recycling
Lots of money gets raised for Lindsey Lodge by re-using and recycling all kinds of things. You may be able to help us raise funds or save funds by ‘going greener’.

Please note that we are no longer able to help recycle used PC printer cartridges.

Here are just a few things that can be done.

Clothes, non-electrical household goods and bric-a-brac

Our charity shops could not operate without the amount of donated goods generously donated and subsequently re-used to raise funds. We are unable to take electrical goods or large items of furniture but good quality clothes, household items and bric-a-brac can all be donated for re-use.

Click here to find out more about our shops and where they are.

Jewellery

We can now offer the opportunity to recycle jewellery. All those single earrings, bracelets with broken clasps old watches and necklaces can now be recycled to help raise funds and save the environment. Whether at work, college, your club, pub or home you can do something. We’ve teamed up with a company that handles all the sorting, selling and disposal. All you need to do is look out all the unwanted items and donate them in either of two ways:

1. For small quantities you can send direct postage free in a padded envelope (re-used is fine), with Lindsey Lodge Hospice on a slip of paper inside, addressed to FREEPOST CENTRAL RECYCLING. That's it - no postcode or town or anything else needed.

2. For larger quantities we can supply you with big envelopes which when filled can be picked up direct by our partner company, taken to any of our hospice shops, Supporter Groups or brought here to the Hospice for collection.

For information and envelopes to support our jewellery appeal just email: fundraising@lindseylodgehospice.org.uk or call 01724 843731.

Mobile phones

Don't dump your used mobile phones - donate them and raise funds for Lindsey Lodge.

You can collect mobile phones, whether at work, college, your club or pub.

Used stamps

We can currently accept used stamps. Please ensure that they are trimmed to about 3mm around the stamp. Too much paper means less money for Lindsey Lodge.

For information or to discuss any ways of supporting our work by recycling just email: fundraising@lindseylodgehospice.org.uk or call 01724 843731.

Thank you for supporting us in this way.
