Hospice Supporter Groups (Above) Jeff Langton agreed to organise a sell out Country & Western evening at Messingham Village Hall. In addition to this Geoff did a collection courtesy of Morrisons, together with a 16 mile sponsored walk from Owmby to Messingham. Together with wife Sue and other supporters Geoff raised a wonderful £1,886. The great news is that Geoff is repeating his concert next year. _________________________________________________ Hospice supporter groups play a vital role in helping the work of Lindsey Lodge. Each group is made up of local people who support the Hospice within their own communities. Each group arranged fundraising activities, helps arrange cash collections, advises other people who wish to raise funds and represents the hospice. Each year the groups present thousands of pounds to the Hospice and their contribution is a valued part of our income. Barton Supporter Group Supporter Conference 2006 Each group is autonomous and plans its own activities, but hospice fundraising staff are always on hand to provide support and encouragement. Not only do group members enjoy themselves planning and implementing ideas and events, but being part of a group provides friendship and support.
