Welcome

Welcome
Coast to coast wheels in the cash

A huge thanks to (from left) Craig Horner, Mark Short, Jamie Brooks, Simon Ingram, Martin Tokelove and Jamie Kirkby for completing a gruelling 190-mile cycle from St Bees Head in Cumbria to Robin Hood's Bay in North Yorkshire. The guys all work for the basic oxygen steelmaking (BOS) plant on the Scunthorpe steelworks and have raised over £2,800.

The ride was done in memory of a great friend, Bernie Murrells and Craig Horner’s mum, June, who were both treated and cared for at the hospice towards the end of their lives.

Special thanks to Corus for their support, Harsco for the use of a minibus and to Dave Horner for giving his time to drive the bus, manage the back up and keep spirits up.

Leaving a gift for Lindsey Lodge

Besides providing day care services to help people have the best quality of life, part of our care is for people towards the end of life. Many individuals and families choose to request donations in place of flowers at the funeral of a loved one. You may wish to consider this way of recognising the care provided by Lindsey Lodge. All funeral directors offer to collect donations if you do not wish to do so.

Leaving a gift to Lindsey Lodge in your Will is also something that many people choose to do, once those closest to them have been considered. Without such gifts Lindsey Lodge would not have developed in the way it has and future developments can be helped tremendously by such gifts.
