Night out with the girls...

What a time on Friday night!

I was minding my own business when some hospice staff grabbed me and carted me off to Glanford Park.  Great, some footie I thought.  But I was wrong.  There were hundreds of women (557 to be exact) in their pyjamas, all walking through the night to raise funds for Lindsey Lodge so it can provide its care free to people in their time of need.

It was great night.  I was having a whale of a time doing a bit of crowd surfing while the excellent entertainers wowed the crowd.  Can you see me?

I finally ended up back with my dear friends and thought I was in the safe hands of Alison our hospice director.  I made the mistake of saying 'thumbs up girls' and as you can see from the rather startled expression on my face that's exactly what happened to me...

Thanks Alison.  There comes a point in a bear's night when enough is enough, so I rather gingerly pottered off to find a bacon roll before all those hungry walkers got back...
